About Us
Our gymnasts participate in an enjoyable safe environment through structured instruction in many key developmental areas. The club provides a range of classes from beginner level through to competitive.
Through our sessions all members can participate on apparatus including bars, beams, floor, vault and air track to develop and progress their skills & giving every child the opportunity to reach their individual potential in gymnastics. We also work towards Proficiency awards and offer chance to take part in club events throughout the year.

What we offer
We offer both recreational and competitive sessions for girls and boys ranging from
- Recreational 1-2 hour
- Novice 2-4 hour
- Intermediate/Advanced 2–6 hour
- Higher level squads & 4-10 hour. These sessions are offered to gymnasts showing a good work ethic and high level of commitment in their training, as more focus is applied to working basics and conditioning which build on strength and flexibility.
SESSION TIMES all year around between
- MONDAY 4 - 7pm
- FRIDAY 3.45 - 8.00pm
- SATURDAY 8.30 - 5.00pm
Joining
If you would like to join Westgate Gymnastics, please contact us to arrange a trial, we can then advise which session would be suitable for your child. Subsequently if you join — your child will need to sign up online for British Gymnastics membership and affiliate to our club.

Attire
Children should wear leotard and/or shorts and t-shirt. For safety reasons no jewellery and long hair tied back and please bring a water bottle to training. We do provide club T-shirts, leotards, leggings, hoodies, zip up hoodies, also competition leotards if required. Please contact us for any requirements.

Westgate Gymnastics is a British Gymnastics affiliated club run by Tracey Angell and Michelle West, we provide regular recreational and squad sessions to over 160 girls and boys of all levels and ability. We have a professional, friendly team of qualified Women’s Artistic and General Gymnastic coaches, all hold up to date DBS and current safeguard training. We hold many day camps throughout the holidays and attend competitions throughout the year — Sussex, Regional, Invitationals events held by other clubs — as well as hosting our own.
